Adding SEO Minimums Act (ASEOM) (Amended)

Passed by the Senate and signed by the President on the 7th April 2026, then ratified on 13th April 2026.

Preamble

Whereas There is no minimum to revocable SEO’s but there is to irrevocable SEO’s???

Be it enacted by the 164th Senate,

Article 1 – Law Amendment

§1. Article 2, §1. of the Touch Grass Act shall be amended from:

§1. A person may apply to the SDBI for a Self-Exclusion Order (SEO), which shall cause them to be banned or muted from SimDemocracy for a period of time as specified in the order, or indefinitely.

To:

§1. A person may apply to the SDBI for a Self-Exclusion Order (SEO), which shall cause them to be banned or muted from SimDemocracy for a period of time above 30 minutes as specified in the order, or indefinitely.

Article 2 – Constitution Amendment

§1. Article 26, §1. of the Constitution shall be amended from:

§1. Every person shall have the right to remove themselves from SimDemocracy through a mute or ban, for a specified time or indefinitely, through an order made with informed and express consent requesting as such from the relevant authorities as prescribed by law.

To:

§1. Every person shall have the right to remove themselves from SimDemocracy through a mute or ban, for a period of time above 30 minutes as specified or indefinitely, through an order made with informed and express consent requesting as such from the relevant authorities as prescribed by law.
