The Census Act 2025

Article 1 - The Census Administrator

§1. The Census Administrator shall be appointed by the Registration Officer<ref name="regoff">The Secretary of Voter Registration was changed to the Registration Officer by the Voter Registry Act 2025.</ref> and can be dismissed by the President or Registration Officer<ref name="regoff" />.

§2. The duties of Census Administrator shall include:

§2.1. Creating and distributing census forms
§2.2. Collecting and verifying census data
§2.3. Publishing census results
§2.4. Maintaining the integrity and confidentiality of all census related information

Article 2 - The Census

§1. The census shall be anonymous.

§2. The census will have mandatory and non-mandatory questions.

§2.1. Respondents shall be obligated to answer mandatory questions.
§2.2. Mandatory questions shall be the following questions:
§1. How old are you? There would be 5 answers: 13-17, 18-24, 25-30, 31-40 and 40+

§2. Where do you live? There would be 6 answers: Europe, Asia, Africa, North America, South America and Oceania 

§3. Are you active on the discord server: There would be 2 answers: Yes and No
 
§4. Are you active on the subreddit: There would be 2 answers: Yes and No
§2.3. These mandatory questions shall be present in every census.
§2.4. Non-mandatory questions shall be determined and included at the discretion of the Census Administrator and may vary with each census.
§2.5. These questions will not be required in every census, and their inclusion shall be based on the specific goals and focuses of the census as decided by the Census Administrator.
§2.6. Respondents are not obligated to answer non-mandatory questions.

§3. The Census Administrator shall propose a draft of the census to the President for approval. President shall either approve or deny the draft.

§4. Once approved, Census Administrator shall be given @everyone ping permissions and shall post the census in #official-announcements.

§5. Census shall be posted every 3 months, on the 1st day of the month, beginning June 1st 2025.

Article 3 - Implementation

§1. The Census Act is hereby repealed in its entirety.

§2. This Act shall come into force immediately upon passage.

§3. Any references to the repealed Act in other legislation shall be interpreted as referring to this Census Act, where applicable.

§4. All census procedures shall henceforth be governed by the provisions of this Act.
