EO 144-05 Onboarding of New Member Initiative

Whereas we need a better way to onboard new members.

Whereas we have talked about this for a while and it still hasn't happened

§ 1 The Reddit Supervisor is directed to post the following text and make the post a community highlight, and set the text as the welcome message on reddit.

§ 2 doc.cortex is hereby ordered to to convene a "Committee on Implementation of the New User Guide".

§ 2.1 This committee will be made up of members at the discretion of the SoEx.

§ 2.2 The Committee on Implementation of the New User Guide will complete and edit the New User Guide referenced in § 3.

§ 2.3 DoEx is authorized to compensate members of the committee according to the following:

Single Article - 50 tau

Entire Chapter (3 Articles) - 150 tau

Multiple Chapters - 200 tau per chapter

§ 2.4 the New User Guide should be finished, edited, and ready to post by 25.06.2025 at 8:00 AM UTC +1

§ 3 the New User Guide in question can be found here New user guide, but DoEx may use their internal copy of the document.

§ 4 After completion of the New User Guide, the reddit supervisor is also directed to post it on the reddit page and make it a community highlight.
