§1. Purpose

The Office of the Chief of Staff (CoS) is hereby reaffirmed and its mandate expanded. The CoS shall serve as the President's chief enforcer of policy and the primary point of contact for all executive functions. The role is designed to ensure strict departmental adherence to the President's agenda and to provide a singular, authoritative voice for the administration. For the two weeks that they serve the President, the individual serving as CoS will be paid a salary of 300 tau.

§2. Direct Authority and Oversight

§2.1. The CoS is granted authority to halt any departmental action, initiative, or public statement that poses a risk to the administration until the President makes a decision over it and to counsel the President on departmental actions.

§2.2. The CoS will act as the primary conduit for all high-level information from the President to the departments and from the departments back to the President. Department heads are encouraged to address all policy and administrative questions to the CoS, not to the President directly, unless instructed otherwise.

§3. Creation of the Deputy Chief of Staff Position

§3.1. The new position of Deputy Chief of Staff (DCoS) is hereby created. The DCoS will serve directly under the Chief of Staff and will assist in the execution of their duties. For the two weeks that they work for the President, the individual serving as DCoS will be paid a salary of 250 tau.

§3.2. The DCoS is authorized to act on behalf of the CoS in their absence and is granted the authority to oversee and coordinate day-to-day departmental operations.

§3.3. The CoS may delegate specific tasks, projects, and oversight responsibilities to the DCoS, who will report directly to the CoS on the status of all assigned duties.

§4. Repeal of Previous Order

§4.1. EO 136-12 is hereby repealed and replaced in its entirety by this Executive Order.
