EO 151-01 Redefining the Office of Integration

Whereas the Office of Integration is legally still a thing, and its role is important for the Growth of SimDem,

Whereas the Department of Expansion has lost some of its function in lieu of the creation of the Department of Growth, and the Office of Integration should reflect that,

Section 1: Repeals

§1. EO 135-03 is repealed in its entirety, as well as all Executive Orders amending it. Any transitional clauses that have not been exhausted remain in effect if applicable, unless they contradict the present Order.

§2. All resources and personnel previously linked to the Office of Integration created by the aforementioned Executive Order shall be transferred to the Department of Growth, under the Office mentioned by the present Order.

Section 2: Office of Integration

§1. The Office of Integration shall be an Office under the Department of Growth, directed by the Head of the Office of Integration.

§2. The Head of the Office of Integration shall be an employee of the Department of Growth, appointed and dismissed, if needed, by the Secretary of Growth to fulfill said purpose, not excluding any other roles the appointee may have within the Department.

§3. Said Office shall be tasked with taking steps to better integrate new users into SimDemocracy's community, be it from an educational, informative or social standpoint, to the discretion of the Secretary of Growth and the Head of said Office.

§4. The Head of the Office of Integration may, in consultation with the Secretary of Growth, appoint employees of the Department of Growth to work under the aforementioned Office.

§5. The present Head of the Office of Integration shall retain their role in the newly created Office.

Section 3: Transitional Provisions

§1. Throughout the 151st Presidency, the Office of Integration will be in transition to the Department of Growth. This means it shall operate under the Department of Expansion until the Departments of Growth and Expansion determine against it, or the conclusion of the 151st Presidency, whichever is earlier.

§2. For budgetary purposes, the Office of Integration shall be considered to be part of the Department of Expansion for the 151st Presidency. Onwards, it shall be part of the Department of Growth.
