Whereas the Executive requires better representation in its holdings, colonies, and territories, which have historically been overlooked;
Whereas a dedicated official is needed to ensure governance, cooperation, and integration of these regions;
Whereas some regions lack a functioning government and thus require interim authority;
§1. The Department of the Interior (DoI) is hereby established to manage and oversee all executive responsibilities and interests in as well as support the local governments of:
- The Bicameral Republic colony
- The Nation-States region
- All Minecraft holdings
- All off-server colonies
- Any additional regions designated by the President
- §1.1. The DoI may also handle cross-department initiatives, overlooked or assigned Executive duties, and represent the Executive in select domestic or foreign matters as assigned.
§2. The Secretary of the Interior, titled Governor-General, shall lead the Department.
- §2.1. The Governor-General may appoint a Deputy Governor-General and, in ungoverned regions, support establishment of local democratic elections to elect a new local government.
§3. The Governor-General has full secretary authority, including but not limited to: hiring staff, creating sub-departments, and issuing internal rules. Furthermore, it's allowed to handle and make decisions regarding the executive's responsibilities and interests within it's assigned regions, which are considered to have occurred with the executive's support unless otherwise stated.
- §3.1. If a region has no government then the Governor-General, with Presidential approval, may establish an interim government, develop a permanent local government, and maintain control until stability and local governance is restored.
- §3.2. All regional budgets shall be consolidated under the DoI's management and oversight. However, regional governments shall retain control over what's in their budgets
