EO 162-01 Poet Laureate

WHEREAS the arts must be protected.

§1. Each President may select a Poet Laureate during their time in office.

§2. The Poet Laureate shall be someone who embodies the arts, particularly the written word through either poetry or prose.

§3. The Poet Laureate shall be given the opportunity to post their work in #presidental-announcements accompanied by a government announcement ping at most once per day, but the publication of their work is not necessary.
