The Executive Office Accountability Act

Preamble

Whereas information is lost in the transition in and out of offices;

Whereas everyone should know what their Executive Officers are doing;

Whereas these changes will increase government efficiency;

Article 1: Definitions

§1. “Weekly Activity Log” shall refer to a concise, public record of each office’s actions over a seven-day period, including meetings held, decisions made, significant correspondence, and planned priorities.

Article 2: Establishment of Weekly Activity Logs

§1. Each cabinet office shall file a Weekly Activity Log by five (5) PM UTC each Monday, the day the next log starts, every week.

§2. The logs must comply with the following:

§2.1. Major decisions, policy actions, or directives issued;
§2.2. Progress updates on key projects or initiatives;
§2.3. Planned objectives for the coming week.

§3 Logs will be given to the President’s Chief of Staff to compile together, then released to the public, and archived indefinitely.

§4. The President will be able to classify or redact whatever is necessary for public release of the Weekly Activity Logs.

Article 3: Implementation

§1. This Act shall come into effect fourteen (14) days after it passes the legislature.

§2. The Chief of Staff shall, seven (7) days after this Act passes the Legislature, alert the required Executive Officers to begin working on their first log.:
