Preamble

WHEREAS the middle of the week is generally boring and bleak; and

WHEREAS furries bring color, chaos, and questionable fan art to the community; and

WHEREAS all citizens deserve the right to howl mid-week without judgment;

THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED by the Senate of SimDemocracy:

Artice 1: Addition of Official Cultural Observance

§1. The following clause shall be added to the list of recurring observances recognized under the National Holidays Act 2025:

"Furry Wednesday (Every Wednesday): An homage to the furry community on SimDemocracy. On this day, government accounts and public communications are encouraged to include one (1) paw emoji (🐾), and citizens may optionally express themselves using furry-themed avatars, language, or content. Participation is voluntary."

Article 2: Implementation and Limitations

§1. This observance shall not confer legal time off, disrupt voting procedures, or affect official government scheduling.

§2. All content shared as part of this observance must comply with SimDemocracy community guidelines and platform terms of service.

Article 3: Enactment

§1. This amendment shall enter into force immediately upon passage and be recorded in the National Holidays Act 2025\.
