Habeas Corpus Amendment

Whereas it is extremely difficult to start a pre-trial 72 hours after an arrest,
Recognizing that this may lead to criminals roaming free,


I, budo_1 hereby propose the following amendment to the Courtroom Procedures Act 2025

Article 1 - Amendment of pre-trial commencement time

§1. Part 4, Article 17, Section 2.1 of the Courtroom Procedures Act 2025 shall be amended to “§2.1. A pre-trial hearing has not commenced within 7 days following the filing of the criminal complaint; or”
