Minecraft Assembly Discord Infrastructure Act

Article 1 – Purpose

This Act ensures the proper digital infrastructure for transparent legislative work within the Minecraft Colony by mandating the creation and maintenance of official Assembly channels on the SimDemocracy Discord server.

Article 2 – Mandatory Assembly Channels

§1. The following channels shall be established on the SimDemocracy Discord server within the Minecraft Colony category:

    #mc-assembly-hall – for legislative debates, proposals, voting, and public discussion. (Forum-Channel)
    #mc-assembly-notices – for official updates, schedules, and announcements by the Speaker or Governor. (Text-Channel)

§2. Additional subchannels may be created by vote of the Assembly for committees or special proceedings.

§3. For each bill or vote a Thread shall be created.

Article 3 – Access and Permissions

§1. All channels shall be readable by the public unless specified otherwise by Assembly rules.

§2. Only verified members of the Minecraft Assembly may post in voting and announcement channels.

§3. Moderation of these channels shall be coordinated with the SimDemocracy moderation team and the Speaker of the Assembly.

§4. There shall be created a role named “Minecraft Assembly Access” which can be granted by the Speaker to allow non-assembly Members to speak on an issue.

Article 4 – Implementation

§1. The Speaker of the Assembly and the Discord server moderation team shall be jointly responsible for implementation within seven days of this bill’s passage.

§2. Failure to implement this Act within the given timeframe may result in Assembly-led disciplinary procedures against responsible parties.
