Presidential Power in Maintaining Order Under Territorial Hierarchies Amendment

Passed by referendum on 13 July 2025.

Whereas it was once specified that the President had power over the reddit and discord,

Recognizing this is no longer specified anywhere,

Maintaining that such power is considered inherent to the role of the executive in SimDemocracy,

I, Justice Ivy Cactus NC, hereby propose the following amendment to the Constitution of SimDemocracy:

Article 1 — Amendment

§1. The following shall be inserted after Part 2, Article 5, Section 4 of the Constitution: “The President shall have primary authority over the organization and management of the core territories of SimDemocracy, in the absence of specific legislation otherwise.”
