Protecting Our Online Peace Amendment (POOP)

Passed by the Senate on 20 July 2025<ref>Senate Passing Message </ref>, ratified by referendum on 27 July 2025<ref>Referendum Passing </ref>.


An act to provide for bans relating to egregious violations of the TOS.

Preamble

Whereas There have been multiple instances of accounts joining and participating in serious doxxing, including the sending of the names and faces of members of SimDemocracy;

Whereas Many raiding accounts have also joined SimDemocracy;

Whereas Multiple accounts have also been sending the “Train” gif which is NSFW content to multiple people’s DMs;

And Whereas It is necessary to have an efficient way of removing these accounts;


THE SENATE OF SIMDEMOCRACY PROCLAIMS:

Article 1: Amendment

§1. Article 22, §2.3.1. of the Constitution is deleted.

§2. Article 22, §2.4. of the Constitution is amended to read –

    “§2.4. The lawful summary suppression, arrest, detention, muting, or ban of a person for the purposes of enforcing egregious violations of the Reddit and Discord Terms of Service and other constitutional obligations of the state.
    §2.4.1. The following are examples of cases where a violation of the Terms of Service is egregious:
         (a) The violation was repeated multiple times in a short amount of time (including mass spamming or pinging);
         (b) The violation was highly intense; or,
         (c) The violation contained serious doxxing, NSFW, or gore.
    §2.4.2. Within a reasonable time after the issuing of such a suppression, a competent court must certify that the person committed egregious violations of the TOS, and issue a sentence for that said violation.
    §2.4.3. Further legislation may determine the procedures to be followed for the purposes of this subsection.”
