Creating Random Constitutional Fixes Amendment 2

Passed by the Senate on the 16th April 26 and signed the same day, ratified on the 19th April 26

Preamble

Whereas there are some mistakes in the Constitution that should be fixed

Article 1 - Constitutional Amendments

§1. New §11. shall be added to the Appendix of the Constitution and it shall read:

§11. Any citizen, elected or appointed, to an office while serving in a prohibited role must resign from the prohibited office to assume the office they were elected or appointed to. §11.1. For the purposes of this section, “prohibited role” shall be any office listed as incompatible with the position to which a citizen is appointed or elected to.

§2. In Article 4 §3. of the Constitution word “expeditious” shall be replaced by the word “expedient”

§3. New §1.1. and §1.2. shall be inserted into Article 29 of the Constitution and they shall read:

§1.1. Despite §1, persons who are banned from SimDemocracy pursuant to Article 22 shall not be permitted to exercise their rights under Equality Before the Law, Freedom of Speech, and the Right to Toast Dick for the duration of their ban. The Senate may legislate exceptions to this section.

§1.2. Despite §1, the exercise of rights in this Part may be infringed when any section of the Constitution states that it applies despite this Article, or disapplies this Article.

§4. New §5. shall be inserted into Article 29 of the Constitution and it shall read:

§5. Alternate Accounts shall be defined as accounts which are owned or operated by a person on any platform on which SimDemocracy is located, which is not the account they are most well known in.

§5.1. Any account may be declared to be an Alternate Account by a Judge of a Court specified by law on a balance of probabilities. It shall not be necessary for the account they are most well known in to be identified for the purposes of this declaration.

§5.2. Declared Alternate Accounts shall have the exercise of their rights under this Part restricted in accordance with law, and shall have the right to appeal their declaration to a competent court.

§5. Article 29 of the Constitution shall be amended to say:

§4. Every person shall have the right to petition a competent court for judicial review if their rights have been unlawfully infringed and seek effective judicial remedy.

§6. Article 5 §2. of the Constitution shall be amended to say:

§2. The President shall have the authority to veto any votes passed by the Senate, with the exception of confirmations, impeachments, internal motions, and constitutional amendments, and veto overrides, within three (3) days of the passage of the vote.

Article 2 - Random amendments i forgot in last omnibus bill

§1. All mentions of the word “Article” in Government Oversight Act shall be replaced with the word “Part”

§2. All mentions of the word “Section” in Government Oversight Act shall be replaced with the word “Article”
