JUDGMENT by Judge ppatpat

Introduction

[1] The Defendant, lman24_, was charged by the State of SimDemocracy with three distinct criminal offences arising under the Criminal Code 2020. The charges consist of:

[1.1] One count of Making Criminal Threats under Article 60;
[1.2] One count of Conspiracy to Commit Obscene Materials under Articles 13 and 59; and
[1.3] One count of Conspiracy to Brigading and Raiding under Articles 13 and 49.

[2] The Prosecution recommended bans of 3, 6, and 6 months respectively, totalling a 15-month ban. A plea deal was subsequently agreed upon between the State and the Defence for a total ban of 12 months.

[3] Under the terms of the plea deal, the defence plead guilty to all charges, fully understanding the nature or consequence of the guilty plea, and completely agreeing with the facts as set out in the Criminal Complaint.

Verdict

[4] I cannot find a statutory reason to deny the plea deal, with respect to the defence’s decision in [3]. On the basis of the plea deal, and following confirmation from the Defence, I find the Defendant guilty on all three charges.

[5] The Defendant is hereby banned from SimDemocracy for a period of 12 months from the date of this judgment. It is so ordered.
