Special Channels Act

Article 1: Ownership of Government Channels

This Act shall define and formalize the ownership of official SimDemocracy Discord server channels by various government entities. Ownership shall confer administrative and moderation responsibility over the designated channels and shall be recognized for the purpose of interdepartmental coordination, policy implementation, and recordkeeping.

The Senate

The following channels shall be considered under the ownership of the Senate:
#senate-announcements, #senate, #senate-lounge, #senate-executive-public, #senate-executive-private, #senate-floor, #senate-discussion, #bill-proposal, #senate-treasury-chat (9 channels).

The Supreme Court

The following channels shall be considered under the ownership of the Supreme Court:
SCJ VC, #supreme-court, #supreme-court-deliberation (3 channels).

The Lower Courts

The following channels shall be considered under the ownership of the Lower Courts:
#court-general, #court-case-request, #docket, #public-court-1, #public-court-2, #public-court-3, #public-court-4, #public-court-5, #judge-deliberation (9 channels).

The Discord Supervisor

The following channels shall be considered under the ownership of the Discord Supervisor:

The Reddit Supervisor

The following channel shall be considered under the ownership of the Reddit Supervisor:

The Electoral Commission

The following channels shall be considered under the ownership of the Electoral Commission:
#official-announcements, #ec-announcements, #application-requests, #voter-applications (4 channels).

The Archives Commission

The following channels shall be considered under the ownership of the Archives Commission:
#wiki, #ac-discussion, and all channels within the "Archives" category (2+ channels).

The Office of the President

The following channels shall be considered under the ownership of the Office of the President:

The Office of the Vice President

No channels are currently assigned to the Office of the Vice President (0 channels).

The Department of State

The following channels shall be considered under the ownership of the Department of State:

The Department of Expansion

The following channels shall be considered under the ownership of the Department of Activity:

The Department of Justice

The following channels shall be considered under the ownership of the Department of Justice:

The Department of the Treasury

The following channels shall be considered under the ownership of the Department of the Treasury:

The Bar Association

The following channels shall be considered under the ownership of the Bar Association:

Article 2: Enforcement and Modifications

Any dispute over channel ownership or control shall be adjudicated by the SimDemocracy Judiciary. Modifications to this list may be enacted through legislation or executive order, provided such modifications are publicly recorded.
