Subreddit Conservation Act

Preamble:
- Whereas
- the traditions of utilizing the SimDemocracy subreddit must be preserved.
- Whereas
- SimDem Reddit-only users should have access to see election results.
- Whereas
- the SimDemocracy subreddit can be utilized as a tool for expansion and attracting new people to SimDem.
Article 1
§1. The results of all senate elections, presidential elections, and referendums must be announced on a post in the r/SimDemocracy subreddit by a member of the electoral commission within 24 hours of the results being announced on the Discord server.
§2. Votes on senate bills must be posted on the r/SimDemocracy subreddit and senators must have the option to conduct their vote on the subreddit post.
§3. Anyone who makes a post on r/SimDemocracy and crossposts it to another community in which the crosspost receives 100 upvotes shall have the ability to request a reward of 40 tau from the Department of Expansion within 48 hours of making the post.
- §3.1. If they meet the requirements, the Department of Expansion must provide them this reward.
- §3.2. An individual may only receive this reward once per week.
- §3.3. Only 4 individuals may receive this reward per 7 day period (each 7 day period shall end after the next presidential or primary senate election’s results are revealed) with the ones who requested it first being eligible.
- §3.4. The Department of Expansion shall receive an increased budget of 160 tau per week for this purpose, which shall otherwise be banked in their account.
