Treaty of Nolandia

Whereas
both SimDemocracy and the Federal Republic of New Anders desire an end to hostile relations
Whereas
concessions on both sides are needed to ensure the peace

Article I - Immediate Ceasefire

§1 An immediate ceasefire shall take effect in the Federal Republic of New Anders

§2 All soldiers representing SimDemocracy shall withdraw from the Federal Republic of New Anders

§2.1 They shall be allowed to remain but not in a military capacity

Article II - Prisoner Release

§1 All citizens of SimDemocracy who were banned or muted from the Federal Republic of New Anders on the 6th of June, 2025 who were banned or muted without due process of law shall have those restrictions lifted.

§1.1 Those citizens who were banned or muted for violating Discord Terms of Service shall not have those restrictions lifted and shall be tried in a Federal Republic of New Anders court of law.

§2 All citizens of the Federal Republic of New Anders who were muted by Wick Bot in the #border channel of SimDemocracy shall have those mutes lifted.

§2.1 Those citizens who were muted and/or banned for violating the Criminal Code 2025 of SimDemocracy shall not have those mutes lifted and shall be tried in a SimDemocracy court of law.

Article III - End of the State of War

§1 The state of war between SimDemocracy and the Federal Republic of New Anders shall be lifted, and both nations shall resume peaceful relations.

§2 SimDemocracy and the Federal Republic of New Anders shall both send a delegate to each other’s nations as Ambassadors as a sign of friendship

Article IV - Restoring Democracy in New Anders

§1 The resignation of discord user razili_ (1315476142949666877) shall be declared null and void, and they shall continue their term as President of New Anders until the natural expiration of their presidential term.

§2 Discord user chairmp4 (1355291049639153694) of the Federal Republic of New Anders shall be arrested and put on trial for the charge of “Abuse of Perms.”

§2.1 This case shall be tried by the Supreme Court of New Anders as per New Anders law it is a crime involving national security.

§3 Discord user tripodplayzalt (1248841797875269654) shall be reinstated as Chief Justice of the Supreme Court in the Federal Republic of New Anders.

§4 An amendment to the Constitution of New Anders shall be made detailing the following:

§4.1 Citizens of the Federal Republic of New Anders shall be prohibited from administering elections in which they are also a candidate.
§4.2 Violation of the above provision shall be punishable with a charge of Abuse of Permissions.

§5. Immediately upon the ratification of this treaty, a referendum shall take place within the Federal Republic of New Anders to remove the owner of the Server.

§5.1 Citizens of SimDemocracy who joined the Federal Republic of New Anders on or after the 5th of June, 2025 shall be ineligible to vote in the referendum stated in §5.
§5.2 If the Server Owner is convicted of a crime in the Federal Republic of New Anders which would normally lead to a ban from the server, a new referendum to remove the server owner shall be triggered.
§5.3 Referenda to remove the server owner shall take place once every nine (9) months, with the exception of referenda triggered from §5.2.
§5.4 If a referendum to remove the server owner passes with a two-thirds (⅔) majority, a new Server Owner shall be appointed by the President of the Federal Republic of New Anders, subject to confirmation in the Senate.

Article V - Ratification

§1 This treaty shall only be ratified upon meeting the following criteria

§1.1 This treaty must be signed by the President of SimDemocracy and ratified by the Senate of SimDemocracy
§1.2 This treaty must be sign by the President of the Federal Republic of New Anders and the Owner of the New Anders Discord Server
§1.3 This treaty must be ratified by both the New Anders National Assembly and the New Anders Senate
