Preamble

WHEREAS a duck should exist to provide a framework for government upon which to build its specific workings,

WHEREAS we must protect the rights of our ducks by codifying them into the highest order of law,

HEREBY DECLARES that the ducks, enacted with the will of the ducks and their ducklings, shall serve as a foundation for the governance of SimDucks and to protect the rights and liberties of its ducklings.

Ducks Act

An Act to provide for Ducks.

Article 1: Title and Definitions

§1. This is the Ducks Constitution.

§2. Ducks are hereby declared as the official animal of the Senate Clerk, Department of Justice Administration Office, and the Court Registrar.

Repealed<ref name="sixth">Sixth Discord Act</ref>

Article 2: Representation

<ref name="duckamend">Ducks Constitution Amendment passed and signed 21 May 2025.</ref> §1. A role shall be created within the discord server called “Duck”.

§1.1. The role shall have the hex color code of #fee781.
§1.2. The role must be placed above whichever is higher “Court Registrar” or “Senate Clerk”.
§1.3. The role shall have “Display role members separately from online members” set to true.
§1.4. The role shall be given to any member of SimDemocracy with “duck” in their username per request of the user. This does NOT apply to display names/nicknames unless they met the previous criteria of the username.
