EO 149-01 Assignment of SDBI Officers to State Attorneys

§1. Purpose In order to strengthen the Department of Justice (DOJ) and ensure consistent enforcement of the laws of SimDemocracy, each State Attorney shall be assigned a dedicated team of officers from the SimDem Bureau of Investigation (SDBI). §2. Establishment
- §2.1. The DOJ shall coordinate with the SDBI to assign a minimum of one (1) and up to three (3) SDBI Officers to each State Attorney.
- §2.2. These officers shall operate under the supervisory authority of the State Attorney for the purposes of investigations, prosecutions, and enforcement of court orders within their jurisdiction.
- §2.3. Officers shall remain subject to SDBI internal regulations and oversight, but shall prioritize directives from the State Attorney when acting within assigned cases.
§3. Functions
- §3.1. Provide investigative support, including evidence collection, witness interviews, and forensic analysis.
- §3.2. Assist in the execution of subpoenas, warrants, and other judicial orders.
