EO 149-04 Establishment of the Department of Growth

Whereas our current Department of Expansion does the activity and engaging tasks, ignoring expansion issues,

Whereas expansion issues should be a primary concern for the executive,

Whereas the current DoEx employees are accustomed to do their engaging tasks in which they are experienced, and therefore rebranding the DoEx to retake it would not be effective,

§1. The Department of Growth shall be established and be in charge of population growth in SimDemocracy via advertising in other communities or platforms.

§2. The Head of the Department of Growth (DoG) shall be the Secretary of Growth.

§2.1. The Secretary of Growth may appoint a Deputy Secretary of Growth who shall be the Secretary's main assistant and exercise a secondary leadership role.

§3. The Secretary of Growth and the President may hire staff and employees to the Department of Growth.

§3.1. DoG employees, excluding the Secretary and the Deputy Secretary, shall be hierarchized into Growth Agents and Growth Strategists.
§3.1.1. Growth Strategists shall be Growth Agents appointed by the Secretary because of their ideas, experience, and/or contribution.

§3.2 DoG Agents shall have a Grade 6 Payscale as described by EO 133-06. Growth Strategists shall have a Grade 4 Payscale.
§3.2 DoG Agents shall have a Grade 5 Payscale as described by EO 133-06. Growth Strategists shall have a Grade 4 Payscale.

§4. The President or the Secretary of Growth may approve new departmental strategies in order to boost SimDemocracy’s growth.

§4.1. Employees of the Department of Growth shall execute these ideas through posting, crossposting, image design, talking, or any other means necessary according to the topic, under the direction of the Secretary of Growth.

§5. The Department of Growth shall start hiring when an executive budget is approved by the Senate.

§6. The Department of State shall share information to the DoG regarding server partners, and the DoG shall share information to the Department of State regarding plans that might influence or be influenced by foreign affairs and diplomatic relationships with other states.

§7. The DoG shall share relevant information about their plans and strategies to the OHS, DoD, and the DoEx’s Office of Integration.
