Statutarisation of Department of Growth Act 2025

Passed by the Senate on 27 September 2025 and signed by the President on 28 September 2025.

Whereas; the DoG is an extremely important department for the future of SimDemocracy.

Whereas; the DoG, as a non-statutory department, can be disbanded by any future president (although unlikely to happen).

Therefore; this act is created.

Section 1: Amendments

§1. The following article shall be included in the Executive Departments Act 2025, and every article placed after this one shall add one to its number:

Article 8: The Department of Growth (DOG)
 §1. The Head of the Department of Growth (DoG) shall be the Secretary of Growth. 
 §2. The President or the Secretary of Growth may approve new departmental strategies in order to boost SimDem’s growth.
   §2.1. Employees of the Department of Growth shall execute these ideas through posting, crossposting, image design, talking, or any other means necessary according to the topic, under the direction of the Secretary of Growth.
 §3. The Department of State shall share information to the DoG regarding server partners, and the DoG shall share information to the Department of State regarding plans that might influence or be influenced by foreign affairs and diplomatic relationships with other states.
 §4. The DoG shall share relevant information about their plans and strategies to the SDBI, SDAF, and the DoEx.

§2. The following section shall be repealed from the Executive Departments Act 2025:

§3. The DoEx shall aim to attract new participants to SimDemocracy and may coordinate with DoS to further this goal.

Section 2: Implementation

§1. The DoG as established under this amendment shall be the same as established by EO 149-04.

§2. EO 149-04 shall not be repealed under this amendment.
