Preamble

This treaty ends a war between the Bicamel Republic of Exploetopia and the State of SimDemocracy. It establishes that the Bicamel Republic shall become a self-governing colony of SimDemocracy, and a particular charter of governance. Additionally, it maintains the core of what the Bicamel Republic is, through separate criminal jurisdictions and allowing for the usage of reclaimed slurs in the colony.

Terms of the Treaty

§1.The Bicamel Republic of Exploetopia shall surrender in the war against SimDemocracy.

§2. The Bicamel Republic of Exploetopia shall be made a colony of the state of SimDemocracy and shall hereby be known as the Bicamel Republic of SimDemocracy.

§3. Criminal sentences issued in a SimDemocracy court prior to the enactment of this treaty shall only apply in the territories and colonies that constituted SimDemocracy at the time of the sentencing.

§4. Sentences issued by an inferior court of SimDemocracy shall not apply in the Bicamel Republic Discord server unless a Bicamel Republic court determines the criminal action taken place is a violation of Discord Community Guidelines and the individual is at risk for violating the law or safety of the Bicamel Republic.

§5. The Bicamel Republic shall be bound under the law of the constitution of SimDemocracy, and all of which being a colony under SimDemocracy law entails.

§6. The state of SimDemocracy shall protect and provide aid to the Bicamel Republic. The Bicamel Republic shall not have its own military, and shall be under the protection of the SimDemocracy Armed Forces (SDAF).

§7. The Bicamel Republic of SimDemocracy shall not conduct its own foreign affairs with nations or servers, separate from SimDemocracy. This includes that the Bicamel Republic may not enter a treaty, alliance, confederation with or declare war on any foreign entity.

§8. The Bicamel Republic shall maintain the SimDemocracy tau as its official currency, and be a part of the tauzone, unless expelled.

§9. Citizens of the Bicamel Republic of SimDemocracy shall have the right to the reclaimed usage of slurs, given that the slurs are not used in a derogatory manner.

§10. The Bicamel Republic of SimDemocracy shall be governed by the following charter, which shall be SimDemocracy law and which may be amended as stated in it: Charter of the Bicamel Republic of SimDemocracy

§10.1. If any portion of the charter or treaty is deemed unconstitutional by the Supreme Court of SimDemocracy, then the Bicamel Republic may void this treaty and the charter via a majority vote in a public referendum.

§11. Gaylord Tie (tywearingatie), the current monarch of the Bicamel Republic, shall be the temporary Camel Governor (with the powers outlined in the charter), until a Camel Governor is democratically elected.

Condition:

§1. Upon the signing of this treaty by the monarch of the Bicamel Republic of Exploetopia and approval of the BCR charter via a majority referendum in the Bicamel Republic, approval of this treaty by the President of SimDemocracy, and ratification of both the Treaty and Charter by the SimDemocracy senate, they shall be enacted as both SimDemocracy and Bicamel law and shall be binding.

§2. This treaty shall be legally recognized as a contract between the Bicamel Republic and SimDemocracy.
